Việt Nam reports 26th COVID-19 related death

A 93-year-old man in Đà Nẵng died on Saturday afternoon due to COVID-19 complications, the Ministry of Health announced.

HÀ NỘI — A 93-year-old man in Đà Nẵng died on Saturday afternoon due to COVID-19 complications, the Ministry of Health announced. 

Việt Nam's COVID-19 death toll is now 26.

The man, patient 666, was a resident of Thanh Khê District in Đà Nẵng City. Doctors said he died of pneumonia due to COVID-19, septic shock and multi-organ failure.

He died at 5.20pm at Hoà Vang Field Hospital. 

All of COVID-19 related deaths in Việt Nam have been patients suffering from various underlying chronic diseases.

Việt Nam's total number of coronavirus cases now stands at 1,014. — VNS
