Woman in Đà Nẵng recovers from COVID-19

A woman from Đà Nẵng has been given the all-clear from COVID-19, taking the total number of recoveries nationwide to 400.

ĐÀ NẴNG — A woman from Đà Nẵng has been given the all-clear from COVID-19, taking the total number of recoveries nationwide to 400.

The 61-year-old from Hòa Thuận Đông Ward in Hải Châu District tested negative for coronavirus four times and has been released from Đà Nẵng Lung Hospital.

Medics will continue to monitor her and she will be placed in quarantine for 14 days under the regulations of the Ministry of Health.

Dr. Lê Thanh Phúc, Director of Đà Nẵng Lung Hospital said that in the complicated situation faced in Đà Nẵng City, the hospital has taken the initiative updating treatment guidelines and plans from the Ministry of Health and done its best to treat the sick.

This is the 5th patient with COVID-19 at the hospital who has made a full recovery. Four others were given the all-clear on August 10.

As of Wednesday morning, Việt Nam has confirmed 866 COVID-19 cases, including 321 imported cases and 17 deaths. — VNS
