Scaffolding collapse kills three workers in Hà Nội

HÀ NỘI — Three construction workers have died after scaffolding collapsed at a building site in Hà Nội.

The accident happened at a hotel construction project on Nguyễn Công Trứ Street on Thursday evening.

Two men and a woman died after falling to the ground after the scaffolding gave way. The three people live in Chương Mỹ District.

Another worker, Đặng Đình Thắng, 28, was seriously injured and is being treated in hospital.

Dozens of soldiers were at the site to search forand rescue victims. An investigation has been launched into the cause of the collapse. — VNS
