Hà Nội authorities on Wednesday evening decided to lockdown an alley of Hoàng Hoa Thám Street in Tây Hồ District after a local resident was suspected of being infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

Four new cases of COVID-19 were reported on Wednesday evening, bringing the total number of cases in the country to 450.

A specially-arranged Vietnam Airlines flight bringing home 219 stranded Vietnamese citizens in Equatorial Guinea , nearly half of them confirmed COVID-19 positive, landed at Nội Bài International Airport in Hà Nội at around 3pm on Wednesday.
