NGHỆ AN — The Cửa Lò Town People’s Committee in the central province of Nghệ An has developed a plan to strictly manage jet skis on Cửa Lò Beach.
Under the plan, workers of the people’s committee will patrol the beach and punish anyone using jet skis improperly.
If an enterprise repeats the violations, the officers can temporarily seize the jet ski and report the case to the people’s committee and the provincial Department of Culture and Tourism. The enterprise could also have its permit withdrawn.
The committee asked the town police and tourism sector to strengthen forces and management over the vehicle.
Jet skis are becoming more common on Cửa Lò Beach for tourists.
However, several enterprises were reported to have driven the vehicles unsafely, sometimes overloading them with passengers.
The enterprises also violated regulations related to wharves for the vehicle. — VNS
