Coach flips on side, killing two and injuring 17

Two people died and 17 were injured after a coach flipped on its side on National Highway 1A in Long Khánh Town in the southern province of Đồng Nai on Wednesday evening.

ĐỒNG NAI  — Two people died and 17 were injured after a coach flipped on its side on National Highway 1A in Long Khánh Town in the southern province of Đồng Nai on Wednesday evening.

Two passengers on the coach, a 27-year-old mother and her 3-year-old daughter from the central province of Bình Định, were killed. The 17 people who were injured were taken to Long Khánh Hospital.

The coach was on its way from HCM City to the central province of Bình Thuận. As it was heading toward Xuân Tân Commune in Long Khánh Town, the coach driver, Nguyễn Tú, 39, lost control of the vehicle.
