ĐÀ NẴNG — The Selfwing Việt Nam Company officially launched its first education system – the Selfwing V-Kids Kindergarten and Selfwing Garden – in the central city on Friday, marking the first high-quality human resource education system with funding from Japan.

The kindergarden, located in downtown Thanh Khê District, will host 280 kids from 18-months to six years old with a joint curriculum from Việt Nam and Japan on how to develop basic skills for kids.

The kindergarten system includes the 1,400sq.m Selfwing Garden, which teaches practical farming skills and outdoor physical education for kids, in Hòa Xuân Eco-Urban area.

Hirai Yukiko, CEO of Selfwing Việt Nam Company, said the curriculum aims to promote basic skills and knowledge among kids and develop high-quality human resources for Đà Nẵng in the future.

The business has set up its personal education system in Hà Nội, HCM City and Đà Nẵng in supporting an anticipated surge in Japanese investment into Việt Nam in the coming years.

Selfwing Việt Nam, in co-operation with Leave a Nest, an education organisation from Japan, also began a pilot project on nature research education for students at junior secondary schools in Đà Nẵng in 2016.

According to the city’s education and training department, Đà Nẵng has 205 kindergartens, of which 136 are private schools, but only three-year-olds are accepted due to limited nursery services for new-born babies.
