ĐỒNG NAI — The Việt Nam Vaccination Joint Stock Company on July 28 opened a 4,500sq.m vaccination centre in the southern province of Đồng Nai that can serve 1,500-2,000 people a day.

This country’s largest such facility has 50 rooms for medical checks and vaccinations, an area for mothers and babies and a play area for kids.

It has a modern warehouse with cold chain technology that meets WHO good storage practice standards and can store vaccines at a temperature of 2 to 8 degrees Celsius.

It provides all locally-made and imported vaccines for both adults and children, including scarce ones such as the five-in-one pentaxim, six-in-one Infanrix Hexa and Hexaxim, and Synflorix and shots for hepatitis A, flu and rabies.

People are offered free medical checks and consultations before being vaccinated and their health status is monitored afterwards.

Each person will receive an identification number based on which the centre will automatically remind them about their vaccination schedule and provide them with information about outbreaks of diseases.

Patients can also check their vaccination schedules online and can get their shots at any vaccination centre run by the company.

It also offers pre-buying of vaccines, vaccine packages (for children, adults, pregnant women, and business and Government units) and vaccination certificates for people travelling and studying abroad.

It offers loans at zero interest for buying vaccine packages.

On the same day the company also launched a vaccination centre in HCM City’s District 2 which can handle about 1,500-2,000 people a day. — VNS
