Multiple-vehicle collision in Quảng Bình leaves 3 dead

QUẢNG BÌNH — A serial crash in the central province of Quảng Bình late Tuesday has killed three people, local authorities confirmed on Wednesday morning.

According to Thanh Trạch Commune People’s Committee (in Bố Trạch District, Quảng Bình), the accident occurred at around 7.50pm on Tuesday.

Two motorists identified as T.N.H. (born 1992) and H.N.M. (born 1987) were travelling on a motorcycle on National Route 1A when they hit a pedestrian in Thanh Trạch Commune.

The motorcycle then crashed into a truck travelling in the opposite direction.

A car driven by V.V.P (born 1993) then collided with the back of the truck.

The chain reaction crash killed two people on the spot. Another person was taken to the hospital, but later died.

The three deaths were confirmed to be the pedestrian and two motorcyclists.

Further investigations are being carried out by Thanh Trạch Commune Police. — VNS
