HÀ NỘI — A delegation of the Club of Cambodian Journalists (CCJ) led by its President Puy Kea visited and worked with the Vietnam News Agency (VNA), Nhân Dân (People) Newspaper, and the Việt Nam Journalists' Association (VJA) on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Receiving the Cambodian journalists at the VNA headquarters in Hà Nội on May 15, VNA Deputy General Director Nguyễn Tuấn Hùng briefed them on the operations of the agency, with 63 representative offices in all 63 provinces and centrally-run cities, and 30 overseas bureaus, including one in Cambodia.

Hung expressed his hope that the visit will help enhance mutual understanding between journalists of the two countries, thus contributing to the enhancement of the Việt Nam-Cambodia traditional friendship.

The two sides exchanged views on measures to raise the quality of journalistic works, as well as challenges to traditional journalism in the digital era, and the application of artificial intelligence (Al) in operations of press agencies.

Later on the same day, Lê Quốc Minh, Editor-in-chief of the Nhân Dân Newspaper, Vice Chairman of the Party Central Committee's Commission for Information and Education, and VJA Chairman received the Cambodian delegation at the newspaper's headquarters.

On May 14, the Cambodian delegation was received by VJA Standing Vice Chairman Nguyễn Đức Lợi.
