Two laundromat attendants arrested for involvement in illegal drug case at hospital

QUẢNG BÌNH — The Việt Nam-Cuba Friendship Hospital in Đồng Hới, the central province of Quảng Bình, attested that two attendants of a laundromat company working for the hospital have been arrested for alleged involvement in the illegal drug case at the hospital.

These two individuals work for a laundromat company contracted with the hospital, and live in a separate room in the hospital premises. They are suspected to be directly linked to nearly 500 illegal drug pills recently discovered by the police within the hospital.

Earlier on Monday night, officers of the Narcotics Office of the Quảng Bình Police and related authorities entered the grounds of the Việt Nam - Cuba Friendship Hospital to investigate, and found more than 500 synthetic drug pills stashed in the laundry room of the hospital. — VNS
