Fire destroys two shops in Moscow market popular with Vietnamese traders

HÀ NỘI — A fire broke out in one of Moscow's biggest markets, Sadovod, on Thursday, according to the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Sadovod is popular with Vietnamese traders, among whom it is known as the 'Bird Market'.

Preliminary reports say two stores 50sq.m in width were destroyed.

More than 20 firefighting teams battled the blaze.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation. — VNS
