HÀ NỘI — Ninth graders in ten of Hà Nội’s suburban districts returned to school on Monday.
Along with Ba Vì District, which resumed in-person classes for ninth graders on November 8, 11 districts and towns of the capital city have now reopened some classes.
The ten suburban districts that resumed schools for ninth graders on Monday are; Đan Phượng, Gia Lâm, Đông Anh, Chương Mỹ, Phúc Thọ, Mê Linh, Sóc Sơn, Thạch Thất, Phú Xuyên, Ứng Hòa.

The districts of Hoài Đức, Mỹ Đức, Quốc Oai, Thanh Trì, Thường Tín, Thanh Oai, Sơn Tây Town and Ba Vì Boarding School for Ethnic Minority Students are making preparations for schools to reopen on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Ngô Thị Tuyết, the principle of Phù Linh Secondary School in Sóc Sơn District, said all ninth-graders will be informed of the necessary preventive measures against the pandemic before, during and after classes.
Deputy director of the city’s Department of Education and Training, Phạm Xuân Tiến, said suburban schools have strictly implemented preventive measures to facilitate the return of students.
Students are eager to return to school after months of closure.
