HÀ NỘI — Trungnam Group started the construction of a local high school in Nghệ An Province on November 20 – Vietnamese Teachers' Day.
The group said the construction of Kỳ Sơn High School in Hữu Lập Commune, Kỳ Sơn District was not only to celebrate and praise the values of teachers but also to light up the generation's studious spirit and belief in the development of education along with its community values.
As a mountainous border district in the west of Nghệ An Province and with more than a 180 kilometre boundary with Laos, Kỳ Sơn District has both potential and challenges to develop.
In Mường Xén Town with more than VNĐ110 billion (US$4.7 million) contributed by the group, the 26,000 sq.m school has a modern design that meets national standards with 40 classrooms, eight function rooms, 122 boarding rooms, and 42 dormitory rooms.
The construction will renovate the old school with four buildings, build a new five story classroom building, a three story dormitory building, two boarding buildings and ancillary works and infrastructure.

By 2021, Trungnam Group will have built five national-level high-quality schools, including Đàm Quang Trung Secondary School, Đà Nẵng City, Đặng Chí Thanh Middle School - High School, Ninh Thuận Province, Văn Lý Secondary School in Hà Nam Province and Châu Hòa School in Bến Tre Province. — VNS
