On behalf of the Politburo, the Secretariat, and General Secretary To Lam, Trần Cẩm Tú respectfully thanked Party General Secretary and President Thongloun Sisoulith, his spouse, and the Lao high-ranking delegation for paying a state visit to Việt Nam.
He expressed his appreciation and high regard for Thongloun’s selection of Việt Nam as the first country to visit in his capacity as Lao Party General Secretary and President, shortly after the successful conclusion of the new-term Party congresses of both countries.
Thongloun Sisoulith said that the visit was highly successful, affirming that the great friendship, special solidarity, comprehensive cooperation, and strategic cohesion between Việt Nam and Laos will continue to grow stronger. He emphasised that this relationship would be preserved as a shared and invaluable asset of the two nations and passed on to future generations.
Through Politburo member Trần Cẩm Tú, the Lao leader extended his sincere thanks to General Secretary Tô Lâm, his spouse, and the high-ranking leaders of the Vietnamese Party and State for the warm, thoughtful, and heartfelt reception, reflecting the deep camaraderie of comrades and brothers who have shared hardships and joys throughout history.
The senior Party official of Việt Nam affirmed that in the upcoming period, the two Parties and two States would continue to implement high-level agreements and cooperation commitments reached by their high-ranking leaders.
