Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyễn Hoà Bình hosted a reception in Hà Nội on Monday for Richard Sell, CEO of Haeco, a subsidiary of the UK-headquartered multinational Swire Group.

Calling for Kuwait’s continued support to advance ties in line with new requirements and the scale of cooperation, PM Phạm Minh Chính proposed nine priority areas for future collaboration.

Việt Nam and Algeria plan to expand cooperation beyond trade, oil and gas and agriculture into high-potential sectors such as industry, renewable energy, scientific research, digital transformation, startups, tourism, higher education, construction and transport.

The two countries have maintained regular high-level visits and exchanges, as well as bilateral cooperation mechanisms. Kuwait is currently Việt Nam's largest trading and investment partner among the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries
