HÀ NỘI — The Embassy of Czech Republic in Việt Nam has announced that VFS Global has been chosen as the service provider for managing the Schengen visa application submission in Việt Nam.
Olga Chojnacka, head of the Consular Section of the embassy, said by outsourcing visa procedures to VFS Global, she expected that the Czech Republic will attract more Vietnamese tourists.
“Before the embassy collected visa applications two days a week, now VFS Global can collect documents five days a week, meaning people won’t have to wait as long,” she said.
“Vietnamese tourists often visit the Czech Republic in spring and summer,” she said.
“The large number of tourists from Việt Nam has increased, so our capacity doesn’t meet the demand of visa applicants.”
Visa applications will be submitted to the VFS Global office in Hà Nội before being processed by the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Việt Nam. — VNS
