HÀ NỘI — MOXIE, an alternative folk band from the west of Ireland, will perform online on Saturday as a part of #IrelandPerforms, an initiative by Culture Ireland Funding to enable Irish artists to play live online.

The band comprising Ted Kelly (tenor banjo/electric guitar), Jos Kelly (button accordion/keyboard) and Julia Spanu (singer) will perform Irish music and songs from 7.30pm.

Based on the roots of Irish traditional music, MOXIE presents a colourful illustration of modern Ireland. They have played around the globe in countries like Việt Nam, Australia, Canada, the US and countries across Europe. They performed at the Hà Nội Opera House in 2016 following the invitation of the Irish Embassy to Việt Nam. — VNS
