QUẢNG NINH — Hạ Long City authorities have called on the Quảng Ninh Inland Waterway Port Authority to suspend the licences of 20 cruise ships operating in Hạ Long and Bái Tử Long Bays for failing to install automatic fire alarm systems in their engine rooms, news website Vietnamplus reported.
The city had told the owners of the vessels to promptly comply with the requirement to ensure the safety of passengers.
The vessels are operated by Sơn Tùng Travel and Trade Co, Quyết Thành Đạt Tourism Service Investment Co, and Hạ Long resident Phạm Năng Minh.
