HCM CITY— As many as 130 artworks of Vietnamese and South Korea artists are on display at the Korea-Vietnam Fine Arts Exchange Exhibition that opened on Saturday in HCM City.
The exhibition features a total of 100 water and ink paintings as well as ceramic, textile, paper, metal, and wooden crafts, and artworks of quilting and embroidery from Korean artists.
There are also 30 paintings and carving works from Vietnamese artists.
The Daegu Gyeongbuk Handcraft Cooperative, the Korea Fine Arts Association in Gyeongsangbuk-do, the Korea Fine Arts Association in Gyeongju, HCM City Fine Arts Association, the Korea Institute of Min-Hwa Research, the Institute of Min-Hwa Gyeongju are cooperating in organising the event.
The exbition at the HCM City Fine Arts Museum will run until December 3.
It is part of the HCM City-Gyeongju World Culture Expo 2017, co-hosted by HCM City and Gyeongju city in South Korea’s Gyeongsangbuk-do province from November 11 to December 3.
The expo features more than 30 programmes on art performances, exhibitions, movie screenings, and trade promotion activities. —VNS
