Forty Vietnamese artists apper in MV praising the country

Việt Nam Tươi Đẹp (Beautiful Việt Nam), a new music video praising the beauty of Việt Nam with 40 participating Vietnamese artists, has been released to celebrate the 42nd anniversary of Reunification Day (April 30).

HCM CITY — Việt Nam Tươi Đẹp (Beautiful Việt Nam), a new music video praising the beauty of Việt Nam, with 40 Vietnamese artists, has been released to celebrate the 42nd anniversary of Reunification Day (April 30).

The song was written by Nguyễn Hoàng Duy and mixed by Đỗ Hiếu, who have both produced music for pop stars such as Hồ Ngọc Hà, Đông Nhi and Noo Phước Thịnh.

It has a joyful melody and a mixture of pop and electronic dance music, while its lyrics are about the beauty of Việt Nam’s nature and landscapes.

The song is performed by 10 well-known, rising singers like Noo Phước Thịnh, Đông Nhi, Bảo Anh and Ngô Kiến Huy.

The video includes actors Thành Lộc, Minh Luân and Hùng Thuận, and singers Thanh Ngọc, Hari Won and Sơn Ngọc Minh.

Miss Việt Nam 2016 Đỗ Mỹ Linh and Miss Áo Dài Việt Nam 2014 Lan Khuê also appear in the production.

Directed by Đinh Hà Uyên Thư, the video was filmed at famous landscapes in provinces and cities, including Quảng Bình, Quảng Nam, Thừa Thiên – Huế, Đắk Lắk, Đà Nẵng, Bình Thuận, Hậu Giang, Đồng Tháp and HCM City.

“Our country is very beautiful. Many Vietnamese artists and I have made the MV and uploaded it on YouTube to introduce Việt Nam to the world,” said Thư, who has made numerous music videos for popular singers such as Đàm Vĩnh Hưng, Dương Triệu Vũ and Tóc Tiên.

After watching the MV, Trần Trọng Hiếu, a student at the HCM City University of Culture, said: “The video is so beautiful. I think many young people like me want to go out and see our country.”

Việt Nam Tươi Đẹp has had more than 346,000 hits after a three-day release on YouTube. — VNS
