HCM CITY — The opening event of Việt Nam International Fashion Week 2017 Spring-Summer took place on Tuesday night in HCM City.
The event featured designs from Xuân Haute Couture (France), Betty Trần (Australia) and Chung Thanh Phong (Việt Nam), which were presented in front of a background showing fast-paced life in HCM City.
While the two female designers impressed audience with their elegant style, Chung Thanh Phong’s design Mr.Meuw, in black, white and silver featured a unisex style.
The fourth Việt Nam International Fashion Week running to Friday will feature nearly 20 collections with unique styles of designers from France, Australia, Portugal, South Korea, Thailand and Israel.
Designers from Shenkar College of Engineering and Design (Israel) and the Portuguese designer Joao Rolo are particpating in the fashion week for the first time.
Vietnamese designers including Lê Thanh Hòa, Đỗ Long, Hà Linh Thư, Claret Giang Lê and Lê Hà will also bring their designs to the fashion week.
Đỗ Long will present his collection Amphetamin which is inspired by women’s sexy charm, Lê Thanh Hòa with the Mademoiselle collection, inspired by liberal and wild women. Meanwhile, Lê Hà’s Canifa colour of nature will tell a story of emotions, lights and nature. — VNS
