HÀ NỘI — A wine party with the participation of Argentinean Ambassador to Việt Nam Juan Carlos Valle Raleigh and world leading sommelier Tô Việt will be held at the Hemispheres restaurant.

The party is organised on April 17th to celebrate Malbec World Day.

The event, among a series of activities to celebrate Malbec World Day, aims to introduce and promote Argentina’s high quality and characteristic wine brand Malbec to the Việt Nam market.

Themed “Malbec – The Heart of Argentina,” Malbec World Day this year is being celebrated in several cities all over the world, including Hà Nội this April.

The celebration event this year will centre on Malbec wine as the heart of Argentina.

A variety of Argentinean wines, among which Malbec is best known, are famous for their diversity in flavour.

Malbec is the heart of the wine industry and is an ambassador of Argentina globally.

Malbec is well-known for its diversity of flavour. Stretching over 4,000km, Argentina has favourable conditions for growing and harvesting the high quality grape, which is the main ingredient for the wine.

The grapevines of Argentina stretch from freezing Patagonia to the northern region of Argentina. Malbec, therefore, is produced in three different regions of Argentina – the northern region, Cuyo and Patagonia.

The well-known Malbec wine has brought development incentives for Argentina’s entire wine industry over the past two decades. Therefore, it is not only a brand of wine, but also represents the country’s cultural identity and demonstrates the active development of this South American country.

Malbec World Day is an initiative aimed at enhancing the position of Malbec wine as well as the wine industry of Argentina on an international level. Since it was first celebrated on April 17th, 2011, Malbec World Day has gained popularity in cities where it is celebrated. — VNS
