ĐÀ NẴNG — The "Genting Dream" cruise ship will bring 3,500 tourists to Đà Nẵng’s Tiên Sa Port tomorrow at the start of a promotional tour of Vietnamese ports.
The 18-storey cruise liner will dock at Đà Nẵng’s Tiên Sa port for one day. Passengers will be taken on a tour of the city’s most popular destinations, including Ngũ Hành Sơn (Marble Mountain), Linh Ứng Pagoda and the Chàm Sculpture Museum before travelling back to Hong Kong.
The MACS Shipping Corporation, a shipping agent, said it’s the first luxury cruise by Dream Cruise Line to visit Việt Nam. In the future it will also stop at Bà Rịa-Vũng Tàu, Nha Trang and Đà Nẵng. "Genting Dream" plans to offer inspirational luxury cruises to exciting destinations in Việt Nam, including Hạ Long Bay.
Earlier this year, the "SuperStar Virgo" cruise ship brought 1,900 tourists from Hong Kong, Taiwan and mainland China to the city.
