HCM CITY — Halloween, traditionally held on October 31, will come early tonight to enterprising young people at HCM City’s Hoa Lư Gymnasium.

The party, with the theme of Ngôi Nhà Ma Quái (Haunted House), is expected to attract nearly 2,000, including students and foreigners.

Attendees have been asked to dress up in Halloween costumes, a custom popular in North America and Western Europe.  Music, dance, drama and games will be included.

Haunted House will also take place on the evenings of October 29 and 30 at 2 Đinh Tiên Hoàng Street.

Another Halloween party aimed at youth will be Đêm Của Chết Chóc (Night of Death), which will begin on Monday at Suối Tiên Tourist Park in District 9. The event will feature horror games, film screenings, music and dance shows.
