HÀ NỘI – Voyage Group, a fashion and communications agency, has announced new projects this year including the Vietnam International Junior Model reality television programme, the third Vietnam International Children Fashion Week and Mister Grand International 2023 contest in Việt Nam.

The organisers said the Vietnam International Junior Model is a Vietnamese reality show with the first exclusive format for children who like fashion.

“This is an international standard professional playground for junior models,” said designer Lê Trần Đắc Ngọc, General Director of Voyage Group.

Ngọc said 15 episodes of the programme will be broadcast on TV channels in Việt Nam, Thailand, Myanmar, the Philippines, and South Korea.

Live competing rounds will be conducted until June 10, and then the shortlisted models will be cast directly in Hà Nội to enter a common house.

Competitors will be divided into three categories: ages one to three; four to 12 and 13 to 19.

The programme is expected to gather 6,000 contestants from all over the country, even overseas Vietnamese.

“We will invite prestigious judges, including Pawee Ventura – CEO Missology; Erina Hanawa – Miss World Tourism 2022; Angelina Ong – Miss Earth 2015; Gunzaya Victoria – Mongolia’s Miss Universe 2019; Dominik Chabr – Man of the Year 2022 and Michael Pelletier – Mister Grand International 2022,” Ngọc said. “So the results will be fair.”  

The programme will combine challenges for the contestants to join in charity activities and spread a message of love to the community.

Junior Fashion Week

In addition, the third season of the annual Vietnam International Junior Fashion Week will return on August 5 and 6 in Hà Nội.

The Vietnam International Junior Fashion Week will feature the theme of culture promotion.

Ngọc said various international designers will join in to show off their passion for fashion.

Themed Fashion and Culture Promotion, the event will be a colourful display with the participation of great names in international fashion, Ngọc said.

Contest for men

Voyage Group will host Mister Grand International 2023 while Ngọc himself has officially become one among four owners of the contest and head of the organising board of Mister Grand International 2023.

The first Mister Grand International will be organised in Việt Nam later this year.

The contest seeks a modern man with masculinity, sporting spirit and influence.

The winner will implement various meaningful projects for the community.

The first contest was organised in the Philippines in 2017 and four other contests have been organised in other countries so far. VNS
