The main events of Zen Poetry Week include a talk show, performances of Zen poetry at Duyệt Thị Đường Theatre and a calligraphy exhibition of poetry.
The programme's highlight is the exhibition of two sets of Vietnamese Zen Poetry books in three languages (Vietnamese, Chinese, and English).
There are also poetry nights and Huế songs on the Perfume River, as well as meditation songs and Vietnamese meditation music performed during the closing ceremony.
According to the organisers, Buddhist culture has permeated national life for thousands of years, with Zen poetry serving as a high point.
The thoughts and feelings of many national teachers, great masters, and Zen masters help all people to cultivate their minds, and cultivate altruism, charity and love for nature and people. VNS
