LÂM ĐỒNG — The People's Committee of the Central Highlands province Lâm Đồng has directed relevant departments and branches to strengthen the monitoring and prevention of flash floods and landslides that may occur due to the impact of heavy rain.
According to the forecast of the provincial hydro-meteorological station, in the coming days there will be widespread heavy rain, leading to a high risk of flash floods and landslides on steep slopes, especially in Đơn Dương and Lạc Dương districts and Đà Lạt City.
To promptly prevent the risk of landslides and flash floods and ensure the safety of people's lives and property, the provincial People's Committee has requested relevant departments and branches to deploy urgent solutions to proactively prevent and combat floods and landslides.
Specifically, city and district leaders need to closely monitor the situation and weather developments to promptly evacuate people, vehicles, and property in areas at risk of landslides, flash floods, and deep flooding to ensure the safety of people's lives and property.
