HÀ NỘI — Manulife Vietnam has launched its latest community initiative, running from November to December 2025, aimed at raising awareness about digestive health among young adults aged 25 to 45.

The campaign, titled "Choose Green for Health - For a Truly Healthy Việt Nam", is part of Manulife’s ongoing efforts to prevent digestive diseases, particularly colorectal and stomach cancers, which remain among the leading causes of cancer cases and deaths in Việt Nam, according to World Cancer Observatory data.

Tina Nguyen, General Director of Manulife Vietnam, said the campaign reflects the company’s commitment to public health and supporting a healthier young generation, the backbone of the country’s workforce.

“We believe that a healthy young generation will contribute to building a sustainable country,” she said.

As part of the campaign, Manulife consultants act as healthy living ambassadors, offering guidance on maintaining healthy lifestyles and supporting free health check-up events. It aims to help participants detect potential digestive issues early through medical examinations, ultrasmeound scans, testing, and in-depth consultations.

In collaboration with the Vietnam Young Physicians Association, the campaign will provide free gastrointestinal cancer screenings and health check-ups in Hà Nội, HCM City, Hải Phòng, and Thanh Hóa, with an expected reach of 8,000 people.

Hải Phòng residents received more than 1,000 free medical check-ups during the recent “Healthy Living Every Day 2025” campaign.

The campaign will also feature a series of educational activities at major shopping centres, including Vincom Times City, Aeon Mall Long Biên, and Vincom Trần Duy Hưng in Hà Nội, as well as Estella and Thiso Mall in HCM City. Visitors will be able to participate in practical activities such as quick digestive health screenings, consultations with experts, and registration for free health check-ups.

In addition to in-person activities, Manulife will introduce “Green Radio”, an AI-powered music challenge on social media that allows users to create personalised health messages for their loved ones. By combining technology and creativity, the initiative aims to inspire a proactive approach to health within the community.

Through a series of diverse and practical activities, “Choose Green for Health - For a Truly Healthy Việt Nam” reflects Manulife’s ongoing commitment to community health. The campaign encourages small lifestyle changes and early health monitoring as steps toward a healthier society. More information about the programme is available at www.manulife.com.
