HÀ NỘI — Saigon – Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SHB) on Wednesday officially launched SHB SAHA, its next-generation digital banking platform, marking a major milestone in the bank’s comprehensive digital transformation strategy after more than 32 years of development.
SHB SAHA is an upgraded version of SHB Mobile, combining advanced technologies, a user-friendly interface and a suite of smart features to deliver a faster, smoother and more intuitive digital banking experience. This move reinforces SHB’s ambition to become an unlimited digital bank, meeting the evolving needs of customers anytime, anywhere in the digital era.
The name “SAHA” draws inspiration from Sài Gòn – Hà Nội, the two iconic cities in the bank’s official name, reflecting its mission to deeply connect with customers through every product and service, offering a sense of trust and peace of mind in every financial transaction.

Every tap and swipe is optimised to mimic the familiarity and interactivity of social media, appealing especially to younger, tech-savvy users.
The app offers a seamless omnichannel banking experience, integrating a wide range of digital services that allow users to manage daily financial needs without visiting a physical branch. From money transfers, bill payments, and online savings to toll payments, virtual card issuance, 24/7 overdraft loans, investments, and insurance — everything is just a few taps away. All services are fast, convenient and completely free of charge, whether customers are in bustling urban centres or remote rural areas.
In addition to maintaining international standards in digital banking, SHB continues to invest heavily in its technological infrastructure, particularly in transaction processing systems. Features like instant QR payments and real-time transfers provide customers with a smooth, reliable and secure payment experience — underscoring SHB’s commitment to user experience as the cornerstone of its digital roadmap.
