HCM CITY — As part of its 10th anniversary celebrations, LOCK&LOCK Vietnam gave gifts to children at the Centre For Nurturing Impaired Orphans in Bình Thạnh District and Phát Huy Bình An Centre in District 8 in HCM City, while its staff spent time with them and did voluntary work.
At the former place, where more than 300 severely disabled children live, the company’s executives and staff helped teachers care for the children and teach them drawing.
At the Phát Huy Bình An Centre, the company organised fun activities for children.
It also donated hundreds of daily necessities for the children at both places besides milk and confectionery totally worth over VNĐ200 million (US$8,771).
Chun Hae Woo, general director of LOCK&LOCK Vietnam, said: "With a motto of ‘For Humans’ … we have carried out many meaningful community activities. Through its small efforts, LOCK & LOCK hopes to share with those less fortunate and help them have a better life."
The company has also funded the construction of classes in a school in Lỗ Sơn Commune, Hòa Bình Province. — VNS
