HCM CITY — Vietjet will shift its international flight operations from Terminal 3 to Terminal 4 (T4) at Singapore’s Changi International Airport.

This move marks an expansion of Vietjet at the world’s best five-star international airport and will help reduce travel time by bus from the aircraft’s parking area to the terminal, the airline said in a statement.

Since launching its first flight from HCM City in 2014, Vietjet has continually added more frequency and has introduced new routes from Hà Nội to Changi, serving the travel demands of people and promoting regional trade and integration.

Vietjet is a pioneering airline that is loved by many for its exciting promotional and entertainment programmes, especially during the festive season. Aiming to become a “consumer airline”, Vietjet is continually opening new routes, adding more aircraft, investing in modern technology and offering new add-on products and services to serve customers.

The airline recorded a strong growth in 2017, with a total net revenue of VNĐ42.26 trillion (US$1.85 billion), surging 54 per cent from a year ago.

Thanks to the expansion of its fleet by 17 aircrafts, Vietjet opened 22 new routes last year, including 21 international ones, taking the total number of operational routes to 82.

Throughout 2017, the airline carried more than 17.11 million passengers, and its on-time performance was 85.59 per cent . — VNS
