Work on $2.85m cake factory kicks off

Construction on a new cake factory, worth more than VNĐ65 billion (US$2.85 million) commenced on Saturday at Bình Dương Province’s Việt Nam-Singapore Industrial Park.

BÌNH DƯƠNG — Construction on a new cake factory, worth more than VNĐ65 billion (US$2.85 million) commenced on Saturday at Bình Dương Province’s Việt Nam-Singapore Industrial Park.

Financed by HCM City-based Ánh Hồng Food Limited Co, the 1ha-factory will provide 16,500 tonnes of products annually once operational in July.

Nguyễn Ngọc Hân from Ánh Hồng Food Co said the factory is being built with an aim to help his company become one of the leading enterprises in producing and distributing flan cake – the company’s specialty – and other quality food products. — VNS
