HÀ NỘI — The Ichi Paint Group officially inaugurated and put into operation its new paint factory Morichi in southern Long An Province’s Hải Sơn Industrial Park on Sunday.
This is Ichi Group’s second paint plant to open in the south.
With total capital of over VNĐ50 billion (US$2.2 million), the new plant operates under Japanese hi-tech self-contained production lines that are fully automated, from procedures involving supply of materials to packaging of products.
Morichi paint factory applies modern nanotechnology, thus providing anti-mold, anti-alkali, self-cleaning and antibacterial paint, creating a smooth and glossy painted surface with high coverage, strong adhesion and good elasticity. The paint can even resist corrosion from sea salt, and is therefore highly recommended for Việt Nam’s tropical climate and applicable for projects constructed along the coastal regions.
Ichi group’s Morichi is also the first supplier in Việt Nam providing paint products for Asian markets such as Singapore and Cambodia.
Ichi Group CEO Nguyễn Duy Long said the inauguration of the new paint factory marked a milestone in the company’s continuous growth. With the operation of the new plant, Morichi paint products would spread further in the domestic and international market, he noted.
Ichi group will also expand its distribution network and commit to supplying qualified products and excellent service to customers, Long said. — VNS
