HÀ NỘI — Loic Desriac of Bike Life Đồng Nai triumphed in the fourth stage of the International Cycling Tournament, the VTV- Tôn Hoa Sen Cup Wednesday morning.
Desriac won the 9km stage in individual trial finishing with a time of 10 minutes and 38.12secs with the average speed of 48.518 km/h. Trịnh Đức Tâm of Lộc Trời Group and Patrick Saccani Williams of Australia were the runners-up with times of 10:51.36 and 10:52.39, respectively.
Yellow jersey holder Jordan Parra of Bike Life Đồng Nai failed to make the top 10 after suffering a puncture around 2km in. So Desriac stole the yellow jersey from his teammate Parra in this stage.
However, Parra still held the green jersey as the best sprinter.

The white jersey for the best young cyclist went to Quàng Văn Cường of Lộc Trời Group who is in the national team to prepare for the upcoming Southeast Asian Games to be held in the Philippines later this year.
In the team rankings, Lộc Trời Group took the lead, followed by Bike Life Đồng Nai and VUS-HCM City.
The VTV Cup event attracted more than 80 athletes from six Vietnamese teams and six foreign teams, competing in eight stages covering around 1,045km along the length of the country. — VNS
