Arjun Kadhe wins VN F3 Future tournament

23-year-old Arjun Kadhe of India stunned spectators by winning the Việt Nam F3 Future tennis tournament, Becamex IDC Cup, which wrapped up in the southern province of Bình Dương on November 26.

HÀ NỘI — 23-year-old Arjun Kadhe of India stunned spectators by winning the Việt Nam F3 Future tennis tournament, Becamex IDC Cup, which wrapped up in the southern province of Bình Dương on November 26.

Kadhe defeated Andrew Harris of Australia 7-5, 6-3 in the final of the men’s singles category which lasted one hour and 44 minutes.

Kadhe is now world No 758, while 23-year-old Harris is world No 494.

In the men’s doubles, the duo Tyler Lu of the US and Kelsey Stevenson of Canada crushed Issei Okamura and Shunrou Takeshima of Japan to take the title.

Earlier, top Vietnamese player Lý Hoàng Nam lost in the quarter-final of the F3 event.

He was the runner-up in the F2 tournament, while in the F1 event, he lost in the semi-final round. — VNS
