HÀ NỘI – Vietnamese player Lý Hoàng Nam dropped in the quarter-final round of the Việt Nam F3 Futures tennis tournament in the southern province of Bình Dương yesterday.
Nam, ranked No 522 in the world, lost to Arjun Kadhe of India, world No 758, 3-6, 5-7 after one hour and 37 minutes.
Nam was seeded No 2 at this event, while his Indian rival was No 8. Nam did not play at top form in the match.
Earlier, Nam was the runner-up in the F2 tournament, while in F1 event, he dropped in the semi-final round. –VNS
