ĐÀ NẴNG — More than 150 contestants will race in the first ‘Run for Sơn Trà’, a charty run raising funds to protect Sơn Trà Nature Reserve in Sơn Trà Mountain on December 10th.
The race organising committee said the race offers a 5km race and a 16km race from the bottom of the mountain to the peak at 600m above sea level.
Runners will be able to experience the nature beauty of the 4,400ha reserve, just 10km from the city’s downtown, while joining a fund raising for protection of the reserve and population of the red-shanked douc langur – an endangered primate.
Entrance in the 5km race costs VNĐ300,000 (US$13.3) per person and VNĐ500,000 ($22.1) each for the 16km route
Participants can register at https://channau.org/chayvisontra.
