HÀ NỘI — Vietnamese tennis player Lý Hoàng Nam won his singles and doubles matches at the Singapore F3 Men’s Futures yesterday.

The No 4 seed easily defeated India’s Anirudh Chandrasekar 6-4, 6-2 in the second round match of the singles event.

He will next play No 8 seed Yuichi Ito of Japan in the quarter-finals.

Ito is Nam’s partner in the doubles event. They beat Jake Delaney of Australia and Benjamin Hannestad of Denmark 6-2, 7-5 yesterday to enter the semi-final round. Their next rival will be No 2 seed Indonesian Justin Barki and Chinese Taipei Chen Ti, who beat Michael Look and Dane Propoggia of Australia 6-3, 6-4. — VNS
