HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam ended the Southeast Asian Karate Federation Championships with 22 gold medals and was ranked second behind hosts Indonesia in the medal tally.
The Vietnamese athletes also pocketed 18 silver medals and 30 bronze medals at the annual tournament which ended yesterday.
The sixth championships were held in held in Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia, from May 1 to May 5.
Nearly 200 athletes from eight countries took part in the tournament.
