HÀ NỘI — Vietnamese top tennis player Lý Hoàng Nam eased into the second round of the Thailand F5 Futures in Huahin today.

World No 653 Nam beat Oleksandr Bielinskyi of Ukraine, world No 759 6-0, 6-1 in 56 minutes.

Nam, who won the 2015 boys doubles Wimbledon Championships with Indian partner Sumit Nagal, will met Jeong Young-Hoon of South Korea in the next round.

The other Vietnamese representative in this event, Trịnh Linh Giang, lost to No 3 seed Igoshin Alexander of Russia of 1-6, 2-6. — VNS
