HÀ NỘI — Vietnamese tennis player, Lý Hoàng Nam, jumped up five places from 877th to 872nd place in the latest world rankings.

The 19-year-old player didn’t play any events in the past week but his rankings still rose because his rivals played unsuccessfully and were downgraded.

At present, the southern province of Tây Ninh-born player has 18 points.

In April, Nam ranked in 870th place, the best position of a Vietnamese tennis player in history. — VNS
