HÀ NỘI — The Vietnam Golf Association (VGA) Junior Tour 2024's first leg will be take place on March 2-3 at the Vinpearl Golf Hải Phòng in Hải Phòng City.

It is the opening event of the series for young golfers aged under nine, 11, 13, 15 and 18. The Tour has attracted a lot of attention from athletes and their parents nationwide.

In 2023, there were six impressive and competitive legs. Nguyễn Đặng Minh and Nguyễn Đức Sơn each won two titles while Đoàn Uy and Nguyễn Tuấn Anh championed one.

All winners went on to make great strides in the world of amateur golf.

Many cadet and junior players also made impressive results.

This year, 10 legs will be held in three regions: North, Central, and South.

The VGA has announced its first leg of the Junior Tour 2024 to be organised on March 2-3 in Hải Phòng.

The tournament results will be updated at the VGA Junior's ranking.

According to VGA officials, the Junior Tour was not only a useful playground to help young athletes practice their skills, but also a place to witness the appearance of many potential and talented players. It nurtured the passion for golf of young athletes all over Việt Nam.

Competing at the Tour also helped players get acquainted with the organisation and competition activities of the national tournaments. VNS
