HCM CITY — Việt Nam added four more golds to the tally at the ongoing World Vovinam Championship at HCM City's Phú Thọ Gymnasium.
Competing on home ground was an advantage for athletes who received strong crowd support.
The first two golds were in the combat disciplines by Bùi Xuân Nhật in the men's 48kg and Lê Ngọc Vĩnh in the men's 60kg classes on November 27.
In the performance, Vương Minh Khang won in the men's 10-principle form and Huỳnh Khắc Nguyên championed in the men's grand sun and moon sword form. Nguyên has dominated this category since the first world championship in 2002.
