NHA TRANG — The Vinpearl DIC Legends Vietnam 2023 will offer huge bonus of US$1.2 million from November 28-December 2 in Khánh Hòa Province's Vinpearl Golf Nha Trang.

The organising committee unveiled an exciting prize structure with a cash prize fund of $730,000 along with an impressive array of 14 Hole In One (HIO) awards at a press conference on November 27.

The event encompasses two Pro-Am rounds and three official Alliance competition days.

Aligned with the European Legends Tour system, the tournament is a collaborative effort with Việt Challenge Joint Stock Company. It features distinctive competition formats, fostering opportunities for emerging talents and amateur golfers to engage, enrich their competitive prowess, and cultivate experience and confidence for participation in high-level tournaments in the future.

The Pro-Am event includes the Championship Pro-Am and Invitational Pro-Am competitions scheduled on November 28-29.

These tournaments feature 24 golf legends and 72 Vietnamese amateur athletes. They will be divided into 24 teams of one legend and three amateur golfers competing in a scramble format without the application of handicap over 18 holes.

The winning team will be determined by having the lowest actual (gross) score.

The Vinpearl DIC Legends Vietnam 2023 features 60 legendary names from the world of golf. Among them, Michael Campbell - Tournament Ambassador, Euan McIntosh, Emanuele Canonica, John Price, James Kingston, Adilson Da Silva, Stephen Dodd, Joakim Haeggman, Peter Baker and Markus Brier are poised to deliver a unique golfing experience at Vinpearl Golf Nha Trang.

In the official competition days from November 30 to December 2, 60 legendary golfers and 30 amateur player will be grouped into 30 teams.

The 15 amateur players with the best gross will be selected to compete for the prestigious Best Amateur prize on December 2.

At the same time, the golf legends will compete to take the coveted Vinpearl DIC Legends Vietnam 2023 trophy.

The top 3 winners will receive prizes of up to $200,000 and the tournament champion will walk away with the prestigious cup which was designed to resemble a traditional Vietnamese bronze drum.

Vinpearl DIC Legends makes Việt Nam the first country in Southeast Asia to participate in a series of prestigious and large-scale tournaments of the European Legends Tour.
