HÀ NỘI - Organisers held a review of the Hànộimới Newspaper Run for Peace 2022 on November 15 in Hà Nội.

According to Mai Thị Kim Thoa, deputy editor-in-chief of the newspaper, after six months of preparation, the 47th annual race came to a successful end on October 2.

"Despite some small problems, the race was a successful event with great socio-political significance for the capital city, while runners showed good results," said Thoa. "It not only inspired people to practise sport but also introduced beautiful images of Hà Nội to local and international friends."

More than 170,000 runners took part in the qualifications which were organised in districts, universities and enterprises. Almost 1,500 athletes, including 360 foreigners and 160 elite runners from 82 teams, participated in the final which was organised at Hoàn Kiếm Lake.

Also at the review, the organisers presented prizes to winning individuals and teams of different categories including men's and women's high schools, universities, workers and armed forces. VNS
