Vietnam Airlines carries disadvantaged workers back to their hometowns

The purpose of the flight was to transport disadvantaged workers from HCM City to Hà Nội, allowing them to celebrate Tết (Lunar New Year) with their families in their hometowns. Many of these workers had been away from home for several years due to the challenges of making a living, and the limited economic conditions they faced made it difficult for them to afford the cost of travel.

Heart-warming meals

K National Cancer Hospital held a year-end feast for all patients before returning to their family for Tết holiday. After the break the cancer suffers return to Hà Nội for more treatment. Emotions were running high with doctors delivering positive messages to all patients.

Man in Hưng Yên arrested for anti-State propaganda

 Hưng Yên province's Department of Public Security said on January 30  that its Investigation Security Agency has launched criminal proceedings against and arrested a local man for the charge of "making, storing, distributing, or disseminating information, documents, and items against the State of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam" under Article 117 of the Penal Code.

Overseas Vietnamese help with greening Trường Sa

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Lê Thị Thu Hằng on January 30 presented the Navy High Command with VNĐ 1.55 billion (US$ 63,500) donated by overseas Vietnamese (OV) to a programme on greening Trường Sa (Spratly) islands.
