Religious organisations nationwide have moved to temporarily halt gatherings in the face of the complex developments of the latest COVID-19 outbreak in the central city of Đà Nẵng.

The central province of Quảng Ngãi has reopened its General Hospital after a week under lockdown, the provincial heath department said on Monday.

Of 242 COVID-19 cases currently under treatment in Việt Nam, 13 are in a critical condition, the Ministry of Health has announced.
