HÀ NỘI — Seven Russian men coming to Việt Nam to work as experts for an oil and gas company have tested positive for COVID-19.

The group, aged between 42 and 55, landed at Tân Sơn Nhất International Airport in HCM City on July 11 and were quarantined in Bà Rịa-Vũng Tàu Province immediately after entering the country.

They are all being treated at Bà Rịa Hospital. The total number of people who came to Việt Nam on that flight who have tested positive for coronavirus now stands at 17.

Việt Nam has not seen any new cases in the community for 97 days.
