Three quarters of all COVID-19 patients nationwide have now recovered

HÀ NỘI — The amount of people who have made a full recovery after testing positive for COVID-19 now tops 200.

On Saturday, three more people were given the all-clear after treatment at hospitals in HCM City.

They are a man from the UK, and a married couple from Brazil.

The total amount of coronavirus patients who have been successfully treated now stands at 201 – three quarters of all sufferers.

One patient released on Saturday is a 34-year-old British man who after initially testing positive had a number of subsequent tests during treatment at the Cần Giờ COVID-19 Treatment Hospital which all came back negative.

The couple from Brazil, a 45-year-old woman and her 49-year-old husband, were being treated at the Củ Chi Field Hospital in HCM City.

All three patients will now spend 14 days in isolation at the hospitals where they will continue to be monitored.

As of Saturday morning, Việt Nam reported no new cases of COVID-19 over the past 48 hours. The country’s number of confirmed patients with COVID-19 stands at 268 and no fatalities has been reported. — VNS
